Preparations are underway for the big Pack 81 100th Birthday Party for Scouting, Friday February 26th 6:00-9:00pm. The evening will be full of fun and celebration, food and....CAKES! If you haven't RSVPed yet, PLEASE DO! We need to know if you'll be joining the festivities no later than February 15th. See details in the attached form or on the pack calendar.

February 6th is Greater Lowell District Scouting for Food Day. Pack 81 is distributing flyers, door hangers and bags for the event starting January 30th. See the Pack Calendar for these dates for more details. Questions? Please contact Scouting for Food event coordinator, Celine Gribbon.

The 2010 Minute Cub Muster is scheduled for June 11-13th. This a very popular event and with the 100th anniversary of BSA, the folks who run the show are planning big things. Registration is limited and early sign up are strongly recommended. Registration is $25/scout and $10/adult (registration includes patch and Tshirt) and is due at the end of March.

A reminder that the Museum of Science Overnight is coming up on Saturday, February 13th. If you haven't done so yet, please watch the Overnight video with your scout, and be sure to check out the Brochure and Survival Manual.

Wow! There were awesome cars and wicked fast racing at the January Pack Meeting--congratulations to all Pack 81 Pinewood Derby racers!  A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Clancy for coordinating the event, and all the volunteers who helped make it a success.  And thanks to our cool new track and racing software, you can check out the results and see how each car performed in each race!

Help kick off the 100th anniversary of Scouting with the Frist Centennial New England Scout Show at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. Hosted by Mohegan Council, the weekend will feature exhibits highlighting Scouting skills and programs, outdoor adventure, environmental stewardship, sports, and community service. It will also include historical exhibits, vendors, games, live entertainment and other activities for the whole family.
