Welcome!

Formed in 1963, Cub Scout Pack 81 serves the community of Chelmsford MA. Most of our boys come to us from South Row Elementary School and McCarthy Middle School, but all boys in the area in first through fifth grades (ages 7-11) are welcome.

We meet monthly September through June on Friday evenings at Aldersgate Church on Boston Rd. New scouts are always welcome and our meetings are open to boys and their families interested in learning more about scouting with Pack 81. Scouting with a friend is always better, so bring one along or come join us and make some new ones!

Cub Camp 20,000 Cubs Under the Sea a Huge Success!

Posted on Dec 4 2009 - 8:59am

Cub Camp 2009 has concluded and by all accounts it was a huge success. The boys took part in fun activities such as swimming, fishing, archery, crafts and so much more. The Webelos I and II were able to go to Lone Tree Scout Reservation where they took part in Archery and BB's among other things. They received a small taste of what Boy Scouts do. The Yankee Clipper Council and Greater Lowell District put on a fantastic program (second to none) with the help a many, many hard working enthusiastic volunteers. If you boy didn't get the chance this year, be watching for information about next year. It's an experience they will never forget.

It was a beautiful sunny 4th of July and many scouts were seen enjoying the towns annual parade.  The summer Cub Camp theme was 20,000 Cubs Under the Sea so several packs went to work building submarines.  The cubs were very proud of there work and soaked in the praise and applause along with the rays.
