Help kick off the 100th anniversary of Scouting with the Frist Centennial New England Scout Show at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. Hosted by Mohegan Council, the weekend will feature exhibits highlighting Scouting skills and programs, outdoor adventure, environmental stewardship, sports, and community service. It will also include historical exhibits, vendors, games, live entertainment and other activities for the whole family.
What better way to spend a summer night than at a ballgame with camping on the outfield??? Join your Pack 81 friends for a sleepover at LeLacheur Park, home of the Lowell Spinners, on Saturday August 21st 2010. Tickets are $30 per camper ($5 for those attending the game only). Wow! There were awesome cars and wicked fast racing at the January Pack Meeting--congratulations to all Pack 81 Pinewood Derby racers! A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Clancy for coordinating the event, and all the volunteers who helped make it a success. And thanks to our cool new track and racing software, you can check out the resultsand see how each car performed in each race!
Many, MANY thanks to all those who helped make this year's Blue & Gold Banquet such a wonderful night for Pack 81 families! The food was great, the show was entertaining (and educational!), and the company was the best. A special thanks to all the Pack 81 leaders who set up, cleaned up and as always, lead the pack. A huge round of applause to Ann Marie Snelson for running our cake auction again this year which yielded our largest proceeds for donation to date. And an extra special thanks to Lynda DePasacreta who organized the event and ensured the truly lovely evening!
Pack 81 is planning an overnight adventure aboard the USS Salem! We'll have all kinds of cool fun, including a personalized tour, two days' admission on board the USS Salem, full dinner, breakfast and snacks, and a Sunday morning Boston Harbor Cruise. Unique hands-on experiences includes simulated radar tracking and fire fighting, scavenger hunts, hoisting, and much, much more!
